About Us and the EUCAF

Koda Dog Treats were created with two things in mind. Provide the healthiest single ingredient treat for your four-legged friend while using the proceeds to fund the (EUCAF) Enzo Urgent Care Animal Fund.

The EUCAF is a direct initiative created to monetarily help people and their animals in emergency medical situations. My name is Christian Horner and the reason I created this fund couldn’t be closer to my heart. I lost my best friend during Christmas of 2020, his name was Enzo. He was a beautiful soul with a human like personality. There was something exceptionally special about him and his passing crushed me, tears often come back when thinking about how amazing Enzo was. It was sudden and nowhere close to his time and when realizing the incredible cost of his emergency care, it dawned on me, this isn’t fair. I thought about all the amazing people and their animals that cannot afford the emergency medical care when their pet is in a dire situation. As simple as the realization was, I set up this fund. Enzo loved other dogs like no other, he was accepting and interested, loyal to a T. This fund is dedicated to Enzo, he would be proud and excited to help as many dogs as he could.

With an advisory board of veterinary professionals and passionate animal lovers, we’re developing a quick criteria form to be filled out by the dogs owner which will be reviewed thoroughly and fairly. Depending on the financial situation of the owner along with the detailed breakdown of the medical care needed and associated costs, we will determine the amount of subsidy to be provided from the EUCAF. The owner(s) must be able to cover the costs initially while the application is reviewed. There is a process, however our number one objective is to be fast and efficient during this time. More details to come as we continue develop the EUCAF program.

The EUCAF is a registered charity. To support our cause please consider donating via etransfer to donate@kodadogtreats.com.

Thank you for your support,
